Tattoo shop software built like a shop, not a salon template

Inkdesk is web-based tattoo shop CRM and booking software at inkdesk.online. Studios use it to take online appointments, collect card deposits, fill cancellations from a waitlist, run the day board, check clients in on an iPad, store digital consent, and track artist commissions or booth rent — for $50 per shop per month. Staff sign in with Google; clients book from your site or a hosted book page.

What should tattoo shop management software include?

Tattoo shops are not generic appointment businesses. Pieces vary wildly in length, artists have private books and booth rent deals, deposits protect the chair, and walk-ins collide with booked work. Software that only offers a calendar and a tip jar leaves the hard parts — deposits, no-shows, waitlists, multi-artist days — in Instagram DMs and spreadsheets.

Inkdesk centers those workflows: online booking with real availability, deposit rules, waitlist fills when someone cancels, a day board for the floor, iPad check-in with consent, reminders, a booking widget for your website, and payout statements for commission or booth rent. That is the product, not a bolt-on afterthought.

How does Inkdesk compare to a general booking app?

General tools can take a reservation. Inkdesk is built so the reservation becomes a deposit, a confirmed session, a check-in, and eventually a payout line — with the same client record across visits. See the feature pages for online booking, deposits, waitlist, and artist payouts.

Pricing is simple: $50 per shop per month after trial. There is no per-artist marketplace fee baked into the product pitch. You connect Stripe for client deposits; Inkdesk does not currently send artist payouts through Stripe Transfers.

Where does it live on your website?

Three universal surfaces cover nearly every site: a script embed, an iframe, or a hosted book page with link and QR. WordPress can use the official plugin and a one-time connect code. Shopify and Wix support OAuth when app credentials are configured; otherwise the same snippet path applies. Start from booking widget or integrations.

FAQ

Is Inkdesk only for tattoo shops?

Inkdesk is the CRM for tattoo and piercing studios — one shop, one day board, one client record. Permanent makeup, microblading, and lash/brow remain reserved as later verticals.

How much does Inkdesk cost?

$50 per shop per month after the free trial. One price covers the shop, not a surprise per-seat marketplace fee.

Can clients book without my website?

Yes. Every shop gets a hosted book page you can put in an Instagram bio, Linktree, Google Business Profile, or a printed QR.
