Connect per artist

Artists sign in with Google, then connect calendar sync from their cabinet settings when your environment has Google credentials configured.

Outbound sync writes confirmed Inkdesk sessions to the artist’s Google Calendar. A background pull (~every 5 minutes) refreshes busy blocks from Google so availability stays honest. Inkdesk remains the booking source of truth for shop hours and rules.

What syncs

Confirmed appointments and relevant updates after deposit/confirm flows. Weekly shop hours and exceptions still live in Inkdesk—do not manage salon bookable hours only in Google Calendar.

Push-notification watch channels are not required for booking; if real-time Google webhooks are unset, the scheduled pull still updates busy cache.

Troubleshooting

If events are missing, confirm the artist account that booked the session matches the connected Google identity, and that the appointment reached confirmed (not stuck in deposit pending).
